12V 6W LED Light Engine - Draco

Description

The LUXdrive™ Draco is a high output, constant voltage 12V LED light engine (No CC Driver Required!). The 2.9” x 2.4” PCB features 30 Nichia 757 high-performance mid-power LEDs and onboard drivers. The onboard driver circuitry allows the Draco LED board to accept constant voltage DC input from 10.8-13.2VDC. The Draco can deliver over 1,000 Lumens at 6W power consumption, making it one of our most energy-efficient light engines at 175 Lumens/Watt. If you are looking for a large amount of light in the smallest possible area, this is the LED light for you!

CCT, Colors, and Horticulture Options

The Draco LED board is currently offered in 3000K Warm White and 5000K Cool White. If you require a more specific color temperature, please contact us, as the Nichia 757's are offered in a full-Color temperature (CCT) range from 2700K-6500K. Need color? We have that too: offered in Red, Yellow, Green & Blue.

Need Grow Lights? There are also Horticulture options for small grow applications. The Horticulture Draco utilizes Nichia 757 LEDs with a broad spectrum ideal for growing. Contact for interest in the Horticulture version of the Draco LED.

Powering

The L013 Draco accepts constant voltage from 10.8-13.2VDC, typically powered at 12V. At 12VDC, the LEDs output 1050 Lumens and run at 6.4 Watts. See below for the specific Electrical Specifications.  Easily power the Draco from a USB port with this USB booster cable.

Board Design

The board design was made with the customer in mind, making this an extremely easy unit to set up. Instead of solder connection points, we had two poke-home connectors on the board for easy power connection. The push-in terminals work best with 18-24AWG and a max conductor diameter of 1.2mm. Below the easy connection points is a .30" hole for discrete wiring.

The Draco PCB has convenient .12" diameter mounting holes in each corner. We recommend 4-40 machine mounting screws and the washers should not exceed .25" in diameter.
