Description

The 2008B series PowerPuck is a, 5-32Vdc input, constant current output LED driver for powering high-brightness (HB) LED(s). The PowerPuck from LUXdrive is a current regulated LED driver, designed to automatically vary its output voltage as the forward voltage of an LED changes, all while maintaining a constant current output. The PowerPuck contains no lead, is RoHS complaint, extremely low profile, fully potted, and features 24AWG colored wires for quick and easy connections. The extra small size of the module, 1.5” in diameter by 0.5” tall, and the aluminum mounting brackets make installation fast and simple for even the most space constrained applications. The PowerPuck is not available with a dimming option.

What is the wattage output?
ON 18 Sep, 2020
Your answer has been submitted for consideration
BEST ANSWER: The PowerPuck LED driver is a constant current device, so the wattage would depend on the load and the output current model you choose. The maximum wattage would be the 1000mA model with 32VDC input. Under these circumstances, the maximum output voltage would be 30V, so the wattage would be 30-Watts.

BEST ANSWER: The PowerPuck is a constant current LED driver, so is not suitable for most LED strip products, which are constant voltage.

I am going to be using the model 0N003 LED @ 265 nm. Which driver and heat sinks are best for that unit?

BEST ANSWER: If you want to power the LED at it's maximum drive current (500mA), we would recommend the BuckPuck LED driver (500mA version).  And this heat sink.
